On May 7, 2015, I discovered that 3 languages called Nasuphu [na55 sɤ21 phu55] (in Lanqing village 烂箐), Kasephu [kha55 sɤ21 phu55] (in Tuanqing village 团箐), and Nisuphu [ȵi55 sɯ21 phu55] (in Shanhou village 山后) are spoken by very small populations (< 100) each in Jijie Administrative Village 鸡街村 of Zhujie Township, Guangnan County, Yunnan, China. Their languages are similar to languages spoken much further to the northwest. Nasuphu speakers claim that their ancestors had migrated from Shizong County 师宗县. Nasuphu appears to be a dialect of Nasu (Eastern Yi). My Nasuphu informant was Dai Yunda 代允达, 56 years old in Lanqing village. Lanqing has 30 households and 160 persons, and about 50 speakers of Nasu. In Jijie village, I also met one Nasuphu informant who was only a rememberer of the language, and did not remember the autonym.
